* Telecommunications CouncilThe fifteen Telecommunications Ministers of the EU will meet on December 15 in Luxembourg. The following points make up the agenda for the session:- Proposal of directive concerning the treatment of personal data and protection of privacy in electronic communications (common orientation);- Modified proposal of directive concerning the opening up of competition in the postal services (common position);- Communication from the Commission on internet access (presentation by the Commission)* NavSat 2001NavSat 2001, a discussion forum on navigational aids and satellite positioning, will take place on November 13-15 at Nice Acropolis in France.
