The General Assembly of CEEP (European Centre of Enterprises with Public Participation and of Enterprises of General Economic Interest), in its meeting of 15 December, elected Carl Cederschiold as the organisation's president. Cederschioldt, former mayor of the City of Stockholm and president of the Swedish employers' organisation for local public enterprises (KFS), replaces Caspar Einem, who had been CEEP president from May 2005 on.
