EL CONSEJO DE LA UNIÓN EUROPEA,
Visto el Tratado de la Unión Europea, y en particular su artículo 29,
Vista la Decisión (PESC) 2016/1693 del Consejo, de 20 de septiembre de 2016, por la que se adoptan medidas restrictivas contra el EIIL (Daesh) y Al-Qaida y personas, grupos, empresas y entidades asociados con los mismos, y por la que se deroga la Posición Común 2002/402/PESC (1),
Vista la propuesta de la Alta Representante de la Unión para Asuntos Exteriores y Política de Seguridad,
Considerando lo siguiente:
(1) El 20 de septiembre de 2016, el Consejo adoptó la Decisión (PESC) 2016/1693.
(2) Las medidas restrictivas establecidas en el artículo 2, apartado 2, y en el artículo 3, apartados 3 y 4, de la Decisión (PESC) 2016/1693 se aplican hasta el 31 de octubre de 2019. Sobre la base de una revisión de dicha Decisión, las medidas restrictivas deben prorrogarse hasta el 31 de octubre de 2020.
(3) Procede excluir a una persona de la lista de personas, grupos, empresas y entidades que figura en el anexo de la Decisión (PESC) 2016/1693.
(4) Procede modificar, por lo tanto, la Decisión (PESC) 2016/1693 en consecuencia.
HA ADOPTADO LA PRESENTE DECISIÓN:
En el artículo 6 de la Decisión (PESC) 2016/1693, el apartado 5 se sustituye por el texto siguiente:
5. Las medidas a que se refieren el artículo 2, apartado 2, y el artículo 3, apartados 3 y 4, se aplicarán hasta el 31 de octubre de 2020.

El anexo de la Decisión (PESC) 2016/1693 se modifica con arreglo a lo dispuesto en el anexo de la presente Decisión.
La presente Decisión entrará en vigor el día siguiente al de su publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Unión Europea.
