Dr Karolina Tetłak is assistant professor in tax law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Warsaw University . She is also associated with the Centre for International Sports Law at Staffordshire University, UK and Thompson Rivers University, Canada.


In her academic work, Karolina is interested in Polish, international, comparative and European tax law. She specializes in sports fiscal law, taxation of athletes and tax treatment of sports events. She is also interested in tax design and discrimination. She has been awarded a PhD with distinction for a thesis on income taxation of athletes participating in major international sports events. The research was supported by FIFA under the João Havelange Research Program.
