ESDP: COUNCIL ADOPTS CONFLICT PREVENTION PLAN.

EU Foreign Ministers have adopted a document on "Implementing the Gothenburg EU Programme for the Prevention of violent conflicts: a systematic approach to conflict prevention". The document, which was approved at the May 13 General Affairs Council (GAC), clarifies the way in which the EU's Political and Security Committee (PSC) can use the European Union's various information gathering and analysis resources to plan peace-keeping operations.
