EU AGENCIES: ITALIAN-FINNISH INITIATIVE ON FOOD AGENCY HEADQUARTERS.

Finland's Prime Minister Paavo Liiponen has announced a joint initiative with his Italian colleague Silvio Berlusconi to be sent to Greece's Prime Minister and the acting President of the EU Council Costas Simitis on March 14, concerning the headquarters of the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA). The Italian-Finnish proposal consists of splitting the EFSA in two with Helsinki and Parma each providing offices for one part.
