EU'S MERGER TASK FORCE SCRUTINISES LATEST NOTIFICATIONS.

The European Commission's Merger Task Force is currently considering five notifications which fall within the scope of the 1989 EU Merger Regulation (4064/89). During the routine 30-day review of the deals, all faxed comments can be sent to the Merger Task Force on (+32) 2/296 43 01, quoting the relevant reference number, before the deadline set in each case.Motor vehicles: Suzuki Motor Corporation on December 22 notified its proposed buy-out of its own German subsidiary, Suzuki Auto GmbH, and its partner along with a third company which supplies leasing and financial services.
