The euro-zone's seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate stood at 8.3% in October 2005, the same as in September (it was a good half point higher at 8.8% in October 2004). The EU jobless rate was 8.5% in October 2005, unchanged on September (it was 9.0% in October 2004), Eurostat said on December 1.
