EUROPE AID GETS BELGIAN DEPUTY DIRECTOR-GENERAL.

The European Commission has decided to appoint the 54-year-old Belgian Marc Franco to the post of Deputy Director-General of the Europe Aid Co-operation Office - the new office in charge of implementing EU external aid.
