* Weekly meeting: Wednesday April 7 in Brussels. Items on the agenda include:

- Reform of European Civil Service Staff Regulations, adaptation of application provisions (package 5 and the results of consultation on twelve texts);

- Spring 2004 economic forecasts;

- Recommendation on the 2004 update of the Member States' Broad Economic Policy Guidelines (BEPGs) for the period 2003-2005;

- Communication on enhancing implementation of the Employment Strategy; proposal for a Decision on the Member States' employment policy guidelines; Recommendation on the implementation of employment policy in the Member States;

- Protocol on the accession of Cyprus;

- Commission Regulation on the implementation of the merger control Regulation;

- The Regulation on the application of Article 81.3 of the Treaty (competition) to technology transfer agreements; guidelines on the application of Article 81 to technology transfer agreements.
