* Weekly meeting: Wednesday July 7 in Brussels. On the agenda:

- Notices on guidelines for state aid for the rescue and restructuring or companies in difficulty and for de minimis state aid (small amounts);

- Draft Amending Budget N[degrees]9 for 2004 (financing for the Turkish community of Cyprus);

- Regulation establishing a financial aid instrument to foster economic development in the Turkish Cypriot community; Regulation on the special trade conditions with the part of Cyprus where the Government lacks effective control; authorisation of the Cypriot Chamber of Commerce; specific rules for goods arriving from areas not under the effective control of the Cypriot Government; specific rules for goods arriving from areas under the effective control of the Cypriot Government;

- Communication on "Developing countries, international trade and sustainable development: the role of generalised tariff preferences for the decade 2006-2015";

- Decision on the planned merger of Tetra Laval/Sidel;

- Decision on national benefit plans and exchange of emission rights for greenhouse gases reported by Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Sweden, Norway and the UK;
