EUROPEAN COMMISSION: COLLEGE AGREES TO LAUNCH ACTION PLAN ON COMMUNICATION STRATEGY.

The European Commission has agreed to rapidly launch a new action plan to improve its communication strategy. At a special meeting of the entire Commission on April 23, the members backed a proposal from Commission Vice-president for Communications Margot Wallstrom to rapidly implement a new action plan. They also agreed to draw up a new White Paper on communications strategy which will be based on consultations with the other institutions and member states.
