EUROPEAN OMBUDSMAN CALLS FOR GREATER FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION FOR EUROPEAN OFFICIALS.

On 12 January, the European Ombudsman, Jacob Soderman, called on the European Commission to respect the fundamental principle of freedom of expression when drawing up guidelines for its officials.
