The European Union has launched a new Web site explaining complex questions linked to the harmonisation of European standards applicable to manufactured products. The "New Approach Standardisation in the European Internal Market" site, available at http://www.NewApproach.org, has been specially designed to provide small and medium-sized enterprises with access to information on standards and their evolution within the standardisation process.
