(2004/C 70 E/159) PREGUNTA ESCRITA E-2874/03 de Proinsias De Rossa (PSE) a la Comisión (26 de septiembre de 2003) Asunto: Extracción y conservación de órganos de niños sin consentimiento parental Como ampliación a su respuesta a mi pregunta E-1666/03 (1 ), ¿podría indicar la Comisión cuáles son los Estados miembros que no han firmado o ratificado todavía el Protocolo de las Naciones Unidas para prevenir, reprimir y sancionar la trata de personas, anejo a la Convención de las Naciones Unidas contra la Delincuencia Organizada Transnacional? Respuesta del Sr. Vitorino en nombre de la Comisión (27 de octubre de 2003) Según la información proporcionada por la Oficina de las Naciones Unidas contra las drogas y el delito (UNODC) relativa al Protocolo para prevenir, reprimir y sancionar la trata de personas, especialmente mujeres y niños, anejo a la Convención de las Naciones Unidas contra la Delincuencia Organizada Transnacional (1 ), todos los Estados miembros han firmado el protocolo en diciembre de 2000, pero solamente España y Francia lo han ratificado.
