FIRST ARTEMIS CALL EXPECTED IN COMING WEEKS.

The first call for project proposals from the EU's new joint technology initiative (JTI) in the area of embedded systems, known as Artemis, is now expected to open towards the end of the first quarter of 2008, according to a statement issued by the JTI's industry association. To recall, the JTI, once set up, will be a large-scale public private partnership designed to drive forward R&D work in this area of technology.
