FRANCE TELECOM TO RETAIN 55% OF E-PLUS.

French telecommunications operator France Telecom plans to retain only 55% of German mobile phone operator E-Plus. It has agreed to buy a 17.24% stake in E-Plus from Vodafone AirTouch Plc and a 60.25% stake jointly held by Germany's RWE and Veba.
