FRENCH EMPLOYERS' ASSOCIATION SETS ITS PRIORITIES FOR THE FRENCH PRESIDENCY.

The Movement of French Employers (MEDEF) believes that the six months of the French Presidency of the EU (in the second half of the year) should be "an opportunity to draw the consequences of the Euro while securing for European undertakings genuine territorial competitiveness". This should be achieved by tax harmonisation in areas directly concerned by the Single Market such as VAT and corporation tax.
