GALILEO INVESTORS' DAY.

The European Commission is to stage an information day on March 18 in Brussels on the European satellite navigation programme Galileo. Over 500 industry leaders from all across the world are expected to attend. The meeting, which will be inaugurated by Transport Commissioner Loyola de Palacio, will enable investors to be informed about the development of the programme, the stages leading to the choice of the future concession-holder and the various services that satellite navigation can provide. Companies will be informed of the forthcoming stages in the programme, and especially of the details of the future public-private partnership which will take the form of a concession.
