GMES TO CREATE 83,000 JOBS IN EUROPE.
According to a study commissioned by the European Commission, Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES), the European Commission's Earth observation programme, will create 83,000 jobs - including 20,000 direct jobs - in Europe by 2030.
