The Swedish software manufacturer Intentia, which accuses the British press agency Reuters of computer piracy, announced on October 28 that it has filed a complaint. Intentia accuses Reuters of having prematurely published dispatches on quarterly results on October 24, prior to their official presentation, obliging the company to bring forward its announcement, according to Managing Director Bjoern Algkvist. In the context of an internal investigation seeking the source of this "leak", the software manufacturer has found that some individual entered its computer system illegally. According to Intentia, the evidence left by the "pirate" points to an intrusion from a computer belonging to Reuters. A complaint has been filed formally with the police's computer crime division for "illegal use of computer information".
