A NEW CHAIRMAN FOR CEMBUREAU.

Jorgen Lose (Germany) was elected Chairman for a two-year mandate of Cembureau, European cement's lobby group, at their General Assembly on 13 June. Among other numerous functions, Mr Lose is also Chairman of the Dyckerhoff Surveillance Council AG, Chairman of the German Federation of the Cement Industry, and Chairman of the German Federation of the Building Materials Industry. He has been linked with Cembureau's activities since the beginning of the 1970s, and has held several positions there. Mr Lose intends to communicate further with regard to the cement industry and its achievements, in particular in the field of environmental performances. Michael J.
