PARLIAMENTARY REPORT ON BUDGET FRAUD ADOPTED.

The annual report of Herbert Bosch (PES, Austria), on protecting financial interests in the AEU and the fight against fraud, was adopted at the European Parliament's plenary session on 14 March 1999 (see European Report No 2573). A session amendment prevented any direct reference being made to the Flechard affair, a fraud involving refunds on butter, which goes back to the 1990s.
