STATISTICS: EUROSTAT PUBLISHES YEARBOOK 2002.

Now in its seventh edition, the Eurostat Yearbook, published on May 27, provides a wealth of harmonised and comparable data on the European Union, the Euro-zone and the EU Member States, with additional statistics for major partner nations (members of the European Economic Area, or the European Free Trade Association, the United States and Japan). The candidate countries also receive special attention in this 2002 edition.
