Marius studied law in Bonn, Warsaw and Freiburg. During his legal traineeship, he worked at a private practice exclusively focused on asylum, immigration and citizenship law. In the course of his legal education he also was an intern with the Delegation of the European Commission in Tbilisi, Georgia and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ankara, Turkey. Marius is a member of the German Netzwerk Migrationsrecht and the German Council on Foreign Relations. He is a member of the board of the Hesse chapter of the German Red Cross.
