TWO POLISH MEMBERS OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT JOIN SOCIALIST GROUP.

Two Polish MEPs have joined the Socialist group of the European Parliament. The announcement on December 1 raised the number of PES group members to 202. The new members - Bogdan Golik, a shipyard owner, and Stefan Kuc, who owns a furniture manufacturing company - elected in June 2004 had so far been non-attached MEPs.
