DECISIONE DEL CONSIGLIO
del 13 settembre 2010
relativa alla nomina di membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo per il periodo dal 21 settembre 2010 al 20 settembre 2015

IL CONSIGLIO DELL’UNIONE EUROPEA,
visto il trattato sul funzionamento dell’Unione europea, in particolare l’articolo 300, paragrafo 2, e l’articolo 302, in combinato disposto con l’articolo 7 del protocollo sulle disposizioni transitorie allegato al trattato sull’Unione europea, al trattato sul funzionamento dell’Unione europea e al trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea dell’energia atomica,
viste le proposte presentate da ciascuno Stato membro,
visto il parere della Commissione europea,
considerando quanto segue:
| (1) | Il mandato dei membri attuali del Comitato economico e sociale europeo scade il 20 settembre 2010 (1). È opportuno pertanto procedere alla nomina dei membri del Comitato per un periodo di cinque anni a decorrere dal 21 settembre 2010. |
| (2) | Ciascuno Stato membro ha presentato un elenco contenente un numero di candidati pari al numero di seggi ad esso attribuiti dal trattato. Tutti questi candidati rappresentano le organizzazioni di datori di lavoro, di lavoratori dipendenti e di altri attori rappresentativi della società civile, in particolare nei settori socioeconomico, civico, professionale e culturale. Tuttavia, in una fase successiva il governo della Romania proporrà un altro candidato per completare l’elenco in base al numero dei seggi attribuiti dal trattato, |
HA ADOTTATO LA PRESENTE DECISIONE:
Articolo 1
Le persone elencate nell’allegato della presente decisione sono nominate membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo per il periodo dal 21 settembre 2010 al 20 settembre 2015.
Articolo 2
La presente decisione entra in vigore il giorno dell’adozione.
