This ninth supplement to the 22nd complete edition of the Common catalogue of varieties of agricultural plant species (1) includes the amendments which it has been necessary to make to take into account information that the Commission has received from the Czech Republic, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovak Republic. |

This supplement lists all the varieties the official acceptance of which was granted in the above Member States in accordance with the principles of Council Directive 2002/53/EC (2). |

The present supplement follows the subdivision adopted in the 22nd complete edition. Reference can be made to the legend of this edition. However, columns 2 (EU country of admission) and 3 (EFTA country of admission) are no longer further subdivided according to the country of admission. Furthermore, this supplement lists the names of the person or persons responsible for the maintenance of the varieties and the authority of the new Member States holding the list of names of such persons. |
