CIVIL SERVANT LOSES CASE AGAINST THE COMMISSION.

The EU Civil Service Tribunal has ruled in favour of the European Commission in Case F-40/05, concerning the removal of a civil servant in 2004. It handed down a ruling on 8 November rejecting the proceedings initiated by Marta Andreasen, a former Commission official, on 6 June 2005. Andreasen was seeking annulment of the Commission's decision of October 2004 removing her from her post.
