REGOLAMENTO (CE) N. 105/2007 DELLA COMMISSIONE
del 1o febbraio 2007
recante modifica degli allegati del regolamento (CE) n. 1059/2003 del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio relativo all'istituzione di una classificazione comune delle unità territoriali per la statistica (NUTS)
LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,
visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea,
visti gli allegati del regolamento (CE) n. 1059/2003 del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio, del 26 maggio 2003, relativo all'istituzione di una classificazione comune delle unità territoriali per la statistica (NUTS) (1), in particolare l'articolo 5, paragrafo 4,
considerando quanto segue:
| (1) | Il regolamento (CE) n. 1059/2003 costituisce il quadro legale per la classificazione regionale al fine di consentire la raccolta, la compilazione e la diffusione di statistiche regionali armonizzate nella Comunità. |
| (2) | Gli allegati del regolamento (CE) n. 1059/2003 elencano le unità territoriali da utilizzare per le statistiche. |
| (3) | In conformità con quanto previsto all’articolo 5, paragrafo 4, del regolamento (CE) n. 1059/2003, gli emendamenti della classificazione NUTS sono adottati nel secondo semestre dell'anno civile, ad intervalli inferiori a tre anni. |
| (4) | Secondo le informazioni fornite alla Commissione, la suddivisione territoriale amministrativa è stata cambiata in numerosi Stati membri. |
| (5) | Il regolamento (CE) n. 1059/2003 deve dunque essere modificato di conseguenza. |
| (6) | Le misure previste dal presente regolamento sono conformi al parere del comitato del programma statistico, |
HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:
Articolo 1
Gli allegati del regolamento (CE) n. 1059/2003 sono sostituiti dal testo che figura nell'allegato del presente regolamento.
Articolo 2
Il presente regolamento si applica, per quanto riguarda la trasmissione dei dati alla Commissione (Eurostat), a partire dal 1o gennaio 2008.
Articolo 3
Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il ventesimo giorno successivo alla pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell'Unione europea.
Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri.
