Alberto Perduca has had a distinguished career in the field of law and justice spanning several decades. Since October 2016, he has held the position of Chief Prosecutor at the Prosecution Office of Asti, Italy. Prior to this, from May 2010 to October 2016, he served as the Deputy Chief Prosecutor at the Prosecution Office in Torino, where he was responsible for overseeing the Money Laundering, Cyber Crimes, and Criminal Assets Recovering Department. He was also a member of the Anti-Mafia Department and supervised the Terrorism Department.


One of his notable roles was as the Head of the Justice Component in the EULEX Mission in Kosovo from March 2008 to May 2010. From August 2002 to February 2008, Alberto Perduca served as the Director of Investigations and Operations at the European Anti-fraud Office-OLAF in Brussels.


His career also includes stints as a Prosecutor in Torino, where he handled high-profile cases involving international fraud, drug trafficking, and money laundering, among others. Additionally, he gained international experience as a Legal Officer at the ICTY Prosecution Office in The Hague, working on cases related to violations of international humanitarian law.


Alberto Perduca's extensive background includes positions such as Principal Administrator at the European Anti-fraud Unit-UCLAF, Prosecutor, Judge at the Criminal Law Court in Torino, and a brief period as a practicing lawyer specializing in civil litigation. He also contributed to academia as a researcher at the Criminal Law Department of the Faculty of Law in Torino, focusing on company criminal law and conducting seminars for students.
