Methodolog y
For subst ances / subst ance grou ps of th e hig hest pri orit y, addit ional infor mat ion shall
be comp iled to all ow a r efine d pr iori tisat ion of sub stances i n t he “ RoHS-Wor king -List ”
accor ding t o t he f ollow ing ap proach.
For all su bstan ces fr om the high est prior ity group s, inform ation shal l be collected from
publi cly a vaila ble sour ces and comp iled int o a ta bulat ion. The tabula tion shou ld i nclud e
th e in form ati on f or each su bstan ce regarding th e following para met ers and topics:
Sub stance i dent ity (Na me, CAS and EC ident ifiers) ;
Inf orm ation on th e subst ance classi ficat ions a s coll ected in t he i nven tor y.
Inform ati on on uses ( i.e. ty pical general uses and applicat ions, an d t ypica l EEE
uses an d ap plicat ions);
Quan tit ies o f use ( i.e. ty pical use volu mes and EEE use volu mes for the EU and /or
glo bally , depending on availab ility of in formation );
First indica tion if the use and presence of th e sub stance i n EEE could pote ntia lly
lead to impact s r elate d to Art icle 6( 1). This sh ould be e stim ated based on a sh ort
review of t he m ost recent av ailable REACH docum ent s (Annex XV Dossier , SEAC
and RAC opini ons, etc. and in relat ion to th e in form ati on avai lable on haz ards and
use ad p resence o f t he su bstan ce in EEE);
