Abstract
Thisreviewisasummaryofresultsweachievedincourseofourstudyinwhichmanyissues
ofspecicimportancehavebeenpresentedconcerningthe problemofviolenceinschoolsin
Kosovawhichisoneofthesegmentsofthegeneral violencetakingplaceinthesocietyOur
studyisfocusednotonlyinndingthelevelmannerandformofviolenceinschoolandnot
onlyinndingthe preventionmeasuresofviolence inschoolbutalsotheinuencethat the
violence has in the performance of the pupils and that this phenomenon is a concerning issue
for the research and academic circles every day more and more and also makes them think
andworkharderinovercomingthissocialproblem
Wehavemetpupilsparentsandteachersanddiscussedtheproblemwiththemandlaterwe
obtainedtheanswersonthequestionsincludedinaquestionnaireregardingtheproblemwe
arereviewingWehaveachievedourresearchworkbytryingtocarryoutthetaskswehave
scheduled for ourselves1, such as consulting literature and other information regarding school
violencethe factorsthat causethis occurrenceand inparticularits eectin theprogress of
thelearningprocessWemanagedtogatherandprocessinformationthroughquestionnaires
and also processed data statistics and obtained various parameters. Also in this study but
forinterpretationof theresearchresults wewillalsopresentouropinioninnding waysin
mitigatingandeliminatingthisprobleminourschoolsbybringingourconclusionsaswellas
byoeringconcrete recommendationsofhow tocomeout ofthesituationthattheschoolis
facing the phenomenon of violence.

1.1 Physical and psychological violence
Bodyinjuryorphysicalpunishmentisdenedasapunishmentwhenphysicalforce
isused thatregardlesshow mild it is it’s purpose is to cause certain or unpleasant
painIntheeducationenvironmentthiskindofpunishmentincludesbeatinghiing
slappinghiingfrom behindofthepupilwith ahandoranobject Alsoitcanbe
kicking, shaking or pushing of the pupil, scratching, pinching, biting, hair pulling,
hiing of the ears forcing the pupil to stand in an unpleasant position burning
heatingorviolentwashingofthemouthwithsoap
Therearemanyothernonphysicalformsofpunishmentthatarecruelandhumiliating
Thesepunishmentsareunderestimatingintimidatingthreateningandmockingthe
pupil. Also the use of violence by a bigger and a stronger adult than the pupil, he
evidentlygivesamessageofstrengthcontrolandintimidationbyconrmingthefact
that the physical aggressiveness is closely linked to the psychological aggressiveness.
