REGLAMENTO (CE) No 1083/2003 DE LA COMISIÓN de 24 de junio de 2003 que modifica el Reglamento (CE) no 858/2003 en lo que concierne a la pesca de bacaladilla por parte de los buques que enarbolan pabellón de Alemania y de los Países Bajos LA COMISIÓN DE LAS COMUNIDADES EUROPEAS,
Visto el Tratado constitutivo de la Comunidad Europea,
Visto el Reglamento (CEE) no 2847/93 del Consejo, de 12 de octubre de 1993, por el que se establece un régimen de control aplicable a la política pesquera común (1), cuya última modificación la constituye el Reglamento (CE) no 806/2003 (2), y, en particular, el apartado 3 de su artículo 21,
Considerando lo siguiente:
(1) En virtud del Reglamento (CE) no 858/2003 de la Comisión, de 16 de mayo de 2003, relativo a la interrupción de la pesca de bacaladilla por parte de los buques que enarbolan pabellón de un Estado miembro, con excepción de Dinamarca y del Reino Unido (3), se adoptaron medidas relativas a la interrupción de la pesca de bacaladilla en aguas de la zona Vb (aguas de las Islas Feroe).
(2) Un Estado miembro ha transferido a Alemania y a los Países Bajos determinadas cantidades de bacaladilla que pueden pescarse en aguas de la zona mencionada. Por consiguiente, la pesca de bacaladilla en dicha zona por parte de los buques que enarbolan pabellón de Alemania y de los Países Bajos debe reabrirse con efecto desde el 18 de mayo de 2003.
(3) Por lo tanto, es necesario modificar en consecuencia el Reglamento (CE) no 858/2003.
HA ADOPTADO EL PRESENTE REGLAMENTO:
El Reglamento (CE) no 858/2003 se modificará como sigue:
1) En el título, las palabras «que enarbolan pabellón de un Estado miembro, con excepción de Dinamarca y del Reino Unido» se sustituirán por las palabras «que enarbolan pabellón de determinados Estados miembros».
